I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!

The play is TOMORROW!!!!!!!

In case you didn't know, my sister is directing a play, The Scarlet Pimpernel. If you don't know the story, here is a little over view. The story takes place during the French revolution. It is about the original Special Forces, a band of Englishmen that have formed a secret league with the sole purpose of rescuing French aristocrats, who were condemned to death, from their fate at the guillotine. The leader of their group is careful to hide his identity and is known only to his closest followers. To the rest of the world, he is know as "The Scarlet Pimpernel." He is as resourceful as he is cunning and leaves the keenest of French spies baffled by his identity and tactics. That is, until the French government enlists a man who is equal to enigma in skill and deduction and is as evil as the Englishman is good. He uses kidnapping and blackmail, along with other dastardly deeds, to lay the perfect trap to catch the hero, leaving one person, a girl stuck in the middle of it all, as the only way of escape. It ends with and epic battle of wits, landing the Scarlet Pimpernel in the lap of his greatest enemy. The question is this; is he cleaver enough to out wit the fox to save his life, along with the life of loved ones and those depending on him with their own?

21 Reasons Why My Sister Rocks

In honor of Holly turning 21 today, I am posting 21 reasons why she rocks.

1. Because I say she does. If that's not a good enough reason for you, there are still twenty more to change your mind.
2. She loves God
3. She wants to be a stay-at-home mom.
4. She's pretty, and I'm not bias!
5. She is the only person I know that actually laugh a my stupid jokes. The best times I've had with sis have been spent laughing!
6. She lets me do crazy things and doesn't get too embarrassed about them. (Like singing camp songs at the top of my lungs while hiking down a mountain...) She even does them with me, when nobody's around.
7. She lets me and my buddies tag along when  she does things with her friends.
8. She studies crazy hard. She will get her BA in history in less than two years.
9. She can knit with her eyes closed
10. She cheers me up, and drives me crazy, when I'm sick!
11. She makes the world's BEST Brownies!
12. She used to be able to run faster in high heels than i could in running shoes.
13. She owns a horse.
14. She is scared up spiders and will pick up snakes with her bare hands.
15. She reads more in a day than I do in a month.
16. She doesn't get the point of Chuck Norris jokes.
17. If she can't sew it, no one can.
18. She was crazy enough to try to teach me Latin. (That takes guts!)
19. She thinks on her feet.
20. She takes awesome pictures.
21. And she's my sis!

It's Official

As of 9:04 PM Eastern Daylight Savings Time on August 28, 2013, Matthew Jacob Dustin of Boy Scouts of America Troop 0777 of Barrington, NH, Abnaki District, Daniel Webster Council, is officially an  Eagle Scout! 

Also, Congrats to my buddy Ryan G. for getting his Eagle tonight as well.

I am Eagle Scout number 10 and Ryan is 11 from our troop.

TeenPact 2013

Last week, I took part in a class called TeenPact. It is a class that teaches home-school high-school students about government, mostly state government. I was the first time I had ever done the class and was not sure what to expect. But I was told to throw my expectations out the window on the first day because they said that our expectations would mold our actions and our actions would determine how much we got out of the week! Makes sense to me! Well, they went up and beyond what I was expecting and i had and awesome time. the staff was great! what was really cool is that they were only in their teens! You wouldn't have thought it, though! They were very mature and professional! In fact, the young man that was in charge of my group was less than a year older than me!

Anyways, of the very few pictures I got, only a few of them came out clear.

Here is a picture of my committee! In the first class, we were split up into committee's to analyze and talk about bills before they were voted on by the entire group. Oh, I forgot to mention that we had to write a bill for this class, too. I did mine on Class 3 firearms. And the cool thing was that it stayed in my committee to be discussed. Our committee was the Military Advancements for Defense and Security, also called MADS. We were by far the best! :P

Also, I ran for senator and won, which was really cool! We had elections and a debate type event where we got to talk about different thing and promote ourselves! At our graduation on Thursday, the three senators and the governor had to give speeches. And that included me.

Also, a friend of mine that used to be in scouts with me did the class, too. He is an amateur film maker and he made two videos of the week. They are pretty good! I'm in there a couple times, too!

Anyways, I am hoping to attend it again next year and their Survival Training week in the fall!
