My BHAG

No, I didn't spell bag wrong! BHAG stand for Big Harry Audacious Goal! This year, I am setting a goal for myself! Bet you can't guess what it is! That's right, I am setting a goal for a biking mileage this year. Starting today, and ending December 31, 2013 at 23:59:59, I intend to bike 1,500 miles and keep a log about it. Yes, I will bless you by putting my log on my Blog! Hey! I'm a poet and I didn't even know it!

Just saw my neighbor cleaning the snow off of his truck with a leaf blower! Got to give him points for creativity!

It is amazing how amusing a trash can blowing around the lawn can be! I should probable go pick it up, but it is really fun to watch! it sort of resembles me trying to figure skate or a lame duck attempting to do the tango in flight!

Gun Ban

Today, Obama is meeting with a bunch of school children at the White House to unveil Joe Biden's new gun law. They are claiming that this is because the children want a gun ban, because it is for the children. If you are still in school and disagree with this, please leave a comment!!!

Hike

Today was really nice weather. The sun came out and it got up to about 60. Most of the snow is melted now, but don't worry, we will be getting more on Wednesday. Anywho, I was able to go for a little hike out on so logging roads out behind our house. It was really peaceful and quiet. I saw a couple of hawks, a squirrel and a fox, along with the tracks of that eight point buck i have been wanting to shoot!!!!!! The road goes next to some thick Hemlock groves and next to a brook. I guess there is a mine out there and the Granite they got from it was used the build the dam at the lake here in town. It is the only dam in NH that is still made out of Granite. There are some really cool rock formations out there, too. on of which is at the very top of the tallest point in the neighboring town in the middle of a small pond. it is really cool looking! It looks like a table, with a rock with a hole in the middle of it. I will have to get a picture of it.

*Sob, Sniff, Sniff, Sob* Broncos got beat be the Ravens last night in Double Over Time! *Sniff Sniff* So, I am sad! *Sob some more* As you can probably tell. *Sob Sniff* All because of a field goal! That marks the end of their 2012/13season. Better luck next year. :( *Sob* Bye, bye, Broncos!

Happy New Year to all you people that are crazy enough to read my blog! I am glad you read it, because it gets very tiresome to just read it my self! Just so you know: active today, the BSA has made the Cooking Merit Badge an Eagle Required merit badge! Can't use "Boy Scout Cooking" in a bad way any more, folks! Things are happening!!!!! Must be the end of the world! Oh, wait...That happened two weeks ago!
Time to go to the '13 calender. Yes, for those rednecks out there, that means upgrading to this years calender and not using you '74 calender over again. I mean, you can only slobber over the 1949 Chevy pick-up with the camo paint and mud splattered over the flat tiers so many years in a row, ya know! Nixon was ousted a long time ago!
