I have officially lost all confidence in the BSA! After changing their policy on homosexuals, I plan on being done with scouts after August. So much for Morally Straight!

Mother's Day
Most people say that they have the best mom in the world. However, since their can only be one best mom in the world, you all are wrong, because my mom is the best mom in the world!
Mom: Thanks for everything you do! If I wrote out a list of everything you do for me and the family in just one day, it would take at least five days to write it all out!
Thanks mom! Love you!

Movie Quote Game
Holly wanted me to do this!
Here is how it works! Below are a bunch of random quotes from different movies. You have to guess what movie it is from and who says it WITHOUT LOOKING IT UP!!!!! Who ever gets the most right wins! Ready? Too Bad!
1. "Small chance of success, certainty of death... What are we waiting for?"
2. "Failed. There are plenty of others willing to call you a failure. A fool. A loser. A hopeless souse. Don't you ever say it of yourself. You send out the wrong signal, that is what people pick up. Don't you understand? You care about something, you fight for it. You hit a wall, you push through it. There's something you need to know about failure, _______. You can never let it defeat you"
5. "Nope! It's not made of Willow wood, it's in Willow Wood!"
6. "Do you dig the hole before or after?"
17. Character 1: Great Scotland Yard! That's extraordinary!

3. Character 1 – “A day may come when the
courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of
fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered shields, when
the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight!”
4. Character 1 - “Be careful Gregory, be
extremely careful about what you say! I haven't had my coffee yet, and I'm in
no mood for stupid, irresponsible remarks.”
5. "Nope! It's not made of Willow wood, it's in Willow Wood!"
6. "Do you dig the hole before or after?"
7. Character 1: And if he loses? What then? Well if he loses
precious then we eats it! If Baggins loses we eats it whole!
Character 2: Fair enough.
8. Character 1: The only problem is once they
release this movie, no-one's gonna want to see me jump off the Woolworth
building into a damp rag.
9. Character 1: You know somethin', ----. I was just wonderin', are
we good guys or bad guys? You know, I mean, uh? Our robbin' the rich to feed
the poor.
Character 2: Rob? Tsk tsk tsk. That's a naughty word. We never
rob. We just sort of borrow a bit from those who can afford it.
Character 1: Borrow? Boy, are
we in debt.
10. Character 1: I found a snipe, and I followed it under your
porch, but this snipe had a long tail, and looked more like a large mouse.
Please let me in.
Character 2: ...No.
11. Character 1: So where are you men of courage?
Where are you, fathers who fear the Lord? It's time to rise up and answer the
call that God has given to you, and to say, "I will. I will. I will."
12. Character 1: Are you sure you're eighteen?
Character 2: Why? Do I look
older?
13. Character 1: Sellin' candy to kids, what
could be more honest. You want roots? A place like this, you could grow
yourself down to China.
14. Character 1:Voila! Oh, you look so... so...
Character 2: Stupid.
Character 1: Not quite the
word I was looking for, but perhaps a - little more off the top.
15. Character 1: ...What in heck are you doing here?
Character 2: Fishing, for
lake trout.
16. Character
1: Remember, guys, you're usin' real live
ammunition! A bullet hasn't got any brains! It'll hit whatever you're aimin'
at, so don't start murdering each other!
17. Character 1: Great Scotland Yard! That's extraordinary!
Character 2: What is?
Character 1: Worthington's
having a half-price sale on bowler hats!
18. Character

Character
2: We don't actually have it.
Character
1: Did Bigfoot take it?

TeenPact 2013
Last week, I took part in a class called TeenPact. It is a class that teaches home-school high-school students about government, mostly state government. I was the first time I had ever done the class and was not sure what to expect. But I was told to throw my expectations out the window on the first day because they said that our expectations would mold our actions and our actions would determine how much we got out of the week! Makes sense to me! Well, they went up and beyond what I was expecting and i had and awesome time. the staff was great! what was really cool is that they were only in their teens! You wouldn't have thought it, though! They were very mature and professional! In fact, the young man that was in charge of my group was less than a year older than me!
Anyways, of the very few pictures I got, only a few of them came out clear.
Here is a picture of my committee! In the first class, we were split up into committee's to analyze and talk about bills before they were voted on by the entire group. Oh, I forgot to mention that we had to write a bill for this class, too. I did mine on Class 3 firearms. And the cool thing was that it stayed in my committee to be discussed. Our committee was the Military Advancements for Defense and Security, also called MADS. We were by far the best! :P
Also, I ran for senator and won, which was really cool! We had elections and a debate type event where we got to talk about different thing and promote ourselves! At our graduation on Thursday, the three senators and the governor had to give speeches. And that included me.
Also, a friend of mine that used to be in scouts with me did the class, too. He is an amateur film maker and he made two videos of the week. They are pretty good! I'm in there a couple times, too!
Anyways, I am hoping to attend it again next year and their Survival Training week in the fall!

Biking
Once again, I hit the streets with my two wheeled, peddle powered sports car. it has a really nice two stroke engine- a left leg and a right leg... generally mine!
I did 12.7 miles today putting me a a total of 29.2 miles out of 1,500.
My grampa gave me the good idea of finding out how many miles I have Left and dividing it by the number of days Left in the year. I figured out that if, starting today, I biked 5.794921875 miles everyday, I will meet my goal at the end of the year. But, since getting the .794921875 part of it will be getting pretty hard, I will just go for 5.8. Yeah, I'm and over achiever!
Anywho, 29.2 miles down and 1470.2 miles to go.

Biking
I am now at a grand total of 16.5 miles out of a 1,500 needed to meet my goal for this year! It's great- I was really out of shape when I started a month ago, but now I'm pretty "buff" (for lack of a better word) and takin' every hill that my tiers set rubber on! Maybe I'll try riding Mt. Washington... in a year... or five!
16.5 miles down and 1,483.5 left! I'm on a roll!
